    Random numbers you can trust

This random number generator picks whole numbers between any minimum and maximum you choose – from 1 to 10 for a quick game, to ranges in the billions. Generate a single number or up to 1,000 at once, with or without repeats.

Numbers come from your browser’s cryptographically secure generator (crypto.getRandomValues) with rejection sampling, so every number in the range is equally likely – no hidden bias towards small or large values.

    How to use

    1. Enter the minimum and maximum (both included), or tap a preset such as 1–100.
    2. Choose how many numbers to generate.
    3. Keep no repeats on to get distinct numbers, like drawing tickets from a hat.
    4. Turn on sort if you want the results in order.
    5. Press Generate, then copy the results or check the history.

    Frequently asked questions

    Are the numbers really random?

They are generated with the Web Crypto API, the same cryptographically secure source used for encryption keys. Each value in your range has an equal chance.

Are the minimum and maximum included?

Yes. A range of 1 to 10 can return both 1 and 10.

    What does “no repeats” do?

It makes every generated number unique, like drawing numbered balls without putting them back. You cannot request more unique numbers than the range contains.

Can I use negative or very large numbers?

Yes. Negative numbers work, and ranges can be as large as about 9 quadrillion.

    Can I generate decimal numbers?

This tool generates whole numbers. For decimals, generate a larger range and divide, for example 0–1000 and divide by 100.
